Absolutely！This is my first time to perform my voice presentation. I don’t know there is a cutting edge multi-media studio in NTUT. What a surprise. I think I have done a really good job.
ReplyDeleteIn the play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I play as Charlie, the little boy who won the first price Mr. Wonka provided. He is a righteous and courageous boy. Therefore, I attempted to represent the endless energy of this little boy. Besides, I raised my pitch during the record. Why? In the movie, Charlie is still a little boy with high pitch. From my voice, I can hear the vigor in the little character. It is much easier than performing a stage play. Maybe I have potential to a DJ in the Studio one day. In addition, I enjoy the atmosphere inside the studio. There is no need to face the audience. What’s better, I can sit all the time on a comfortable chair.
In this recording, I have good time with the rest of group members. But it is sad to know this is the last time gathering together in this class. I will miss vinia and some of the classmates very much. It is wonderful to record voice with you all.

This was the first time for me to enter the Multi-media Studio and this was a unique experience because this was also my first time to the voice presentation. The voice presentation was quite different from acting because you could only express your emotion throughout your voice; therefore, intonation was the most important factor in this presentation. Having the voice presentation was a good way to perform for that I wouldn’t be too nervous to speak out a word and I didn’t have to recite my lines during the performance. But to sound like a middle-aged man was a difficult job for me because my voice was not quite suitable for this character; however, I really enjoyed performing Mr. Teavee. Undoubtedly, I was pretty excited when I was in the multi-media studio because it made me feel I was the singer who was going to record an album. It reminded me of my dream to become an outstanding singer when I was a little child. In fact, it was still in my heart but right now I had better focus on my studies. Well, I thought everyone did their great job today and I deeply believed that it was a masterpiece.

ReplyDeleteI never thought that I would have a chance to go inside a multi-media studio to record voices. The quiet and clean environment plus sophisticated apparatus is new and cool to me! I love to participate in a group where everyone plays his or her own part and together we have done a massive achievement in recording all characters’ voices in the eleven scenes. I find some of us really get a talent in expressing lively voices, which are like facial expressions, full of emotions and imagination. The experience of recording voices on mp3 files is unforgettable. I really appreciate that vinia has posted many of our shared memories onto websites like blogs and YouTube!
ReplyDeleteMy part in Charlie and Chocolate Factory is Veruca Salt. She is a pampered little cute girl and has a high-pitched voice. Furthermore, Veruca screams a lot in the play. Therefore, I raised my voice a little bit and tried to interpret her voices through imagination.

Yes,I enjoy the experience of having my voice presentation of a play recorded on mp3 files. In addition, I am excited about going in the multi-media studio and I am surprised to see those professional equipment. It is really a special experience to have voice presentation. We need to express our emotions and to show the extension of a play just with our voice. It is quite difficult for me. My characters is Grandpa Joe, so I need to law down my sound and slow the speed of my speaking. Simultaneously, I also need to pay attention to my pronunciation. Although we needn't recite the lines, it is not easier than the usual presentation.

I do enjoy the experience of having our voice presentation of a play recorded on mp3 files. This is my first time to enter into a recorded room. I have wondered for a long time that what recorded room is like. Today, I know it! It’s really a special experience. I can listen to my special voice in the mp3. The voice which is recorded is very different from the voice I hear when I am talking. In addition, I am also very happy that I can collaborate with my classmates in a recorded room. I think it is everyone's first time to enter a studio making a record. I play Willy Wonka in Scene 7 and I have a lot of lines to speak. Recording in the professional studio is a very, very special experience! The device in the studio is so good that our voices can be recorded although we stand far away from the microphone and the voices are still clear. Although I had some stammers in my presentation, I think I still did a good job. When we checked the tape, I can hear that everyone did his or her good job, too. I learn many things from recording the story, such as how to use voice to perform the characters’ feelings. It’s really a wonderful experience.

Yes, I enjoyed the experience of having my voice presentation of a play recorded on mp3 files. I have never tried to record my voice in the recording studio. I was surprised that I got a chance to attend this voice presentation of reading out the story of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” I took the work for being one of the narrators. It is very fresh for me to listen to my voice from the mp3 files and felt a little bit nervous to make mistakes. I am very glad to have the experience. We have never made our presentation like this way in our own department. I also believe that we could do a better job next time.

Yes, of course, I really enjoyed the experience of having my voice presentation of play recorded on mp3 files. I felt very excited when I went in that room. Everything was very novel to me. I didn’t know that our school had that professional Multi-media Studio. I haven’t had this kind of experience before. But I think we should practice more and more and more, so that we won’t be that nervous next time. It is a very interesting and unforgettable experience. I really like the way that Vinia teaches us and lets us learn something without traditional ways. In the end, I think everyone all did a good job. Yeah, we all have our own first voice presentation.

Absolutely yes! I feel excited about having my voice presentation of a play recorded on mp3 files. This is my first time to go to the recording room. When I was recording, I felt nervous but thrilling at the same time. The record signifies my efforts practicing on this show. It is worth recording and putting on the website to share worldwide. It can also be a precious memory that records my performance in the tape. Time flies. If I become old, I would probably search the record to share with my grandchildren to show that I have choose an interesting course and we are not just learn knowledge from the book. We do the practical experience to learn from this course.

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I participated such activity, and it is really interesting. and i do have a good time recording even though when it was my turn and i did not do a very good job for the lines are too much and i bit my tongue which was awkward and i suddenly found out that dubbing is not an easy job. At last, I want to say...We are the Best. :D

Of course!! This is my first time to do the voice presentation and to record my voice in the Multi-media Studio, and this is a very special experience for me. Actually, I don't know our school has a studio that can let us to record our voice, so I am very surprised to see all the professional devices there. In the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" I play Mrs.Gloop, a woman who is very fat just like her son, Augustus Gloop. For me, it is hard to perform and express emotions only through voice, so it is definitely a big challenge to me. Very different from all the presentation and acting that I have done before, using voice to play a fat lady is very interesting! However, when I was standing in the studio, I felt nervous and worried about my pronunciation. But after we checked the mp3 files in the studio, I think it's good and everyone performed very well. I believe that it will become a very special memory for our whole class.

I am not quite sure about how to imitate the voice of Mr. Wonka. Anyway, I enjoyed it very much, though it is kind of tough. I think I should practice much more reading them fluently. Although i didn't have a lot of lines in the story, but i try my best to sound like a grandma. It was really fun to do this play. when you try to find a good voice for your character, you have to try different voices and it was very funny when everyone is doing it. so i had a great time!! 98540322

When I first stepped into the recorded room, I think I am a professional person who can dub. Therefore, I was so excited that there was a slight quiver in my voice as I had my voice recorded. I do enjoy this voice presentation of a play recorded on mp3 files. Since it was my first time to step into the recording studio and do the voice presentation, I felt very excited and a little bit nervous when speaking the lines of my parts. What I felt regretful was that my lines were so short that I didn’t act so much. Also, I should make my tone become lively and speak more smoothly. However, I think it was an unforgettable experience and hope that there will be lots of opportunities to do the voice presentation in the future.

It is so exciting for me to enter the multi-media studio because this is my very first time to have a performance in the studio. The most important thing is how we’ve done on the record. After recording , I thought we did pretty well. We express the character’s emotions through our voices. It is a show with voices. Even our body languages were limited, but we still tried our best to express what it is in the plot. We had rehearsed many times before we recorded our voices in the studio. Practice makes perfect. Practices are the key to success.

Yes, I did enjoy this special experience a lot. I have never imagined that I could go into a studio and have my voice taped. It is really cool to hear my own voice because as a narrator, my voice would definitely affect audiences’ feelings toward the story. Therefore, I try my best to change and correct my own voice after I listened to the recording.

ReplyDeleteYes, I really enjoy the experience of having the voice presentation of a play recorded on mp3 files. I am so glad that I have an opportunity to enter the multi-media studio. In addition, I was amazed by the quality of the voice recording!!! In the voice presentation, we used our voices to act a drama, so it was important to make good use of our voices to create a vivid character instead of using our origin voice. It’s fun, interesting and it needs practice! If I have chance to choose the character again, I would like to take a more challenge one!! But the truth is that I love this special, interesting, experience of presentation with my classmates!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Vinia. You always remind me to speak clearly and correct my pronunciation patiently. At first, I was very depressed about my voice and speaking. However, because you always encourage your students and look good sides on us, I want to work hard and practice my speaking at my dormitory every day. Therefore, I enjoy the experience of having my voice recorded because I have put a lot of effort into it. Even though I was still nervous at the digital recording studio, I tried my best to speak clearly and slowly. This is a very wonderful experience that I never thought it would happen to me one day. Thank you for realizing one of my wish to let my voice recorded in the studio. At the very beginning, I was very shy and didn’t want to show myself. However, on account of having lot of chances to show on the stage, I just want to seize every opportunity to show myself confidently. Despite the fact that my performance may be not so good, I still want to try my best to show in front of my teacher and classmates. Thank you very much, Vinia.
