  1. Oh! There are so many characters that I would like to read out. Actually, I want to read every single one of them out from the books. However, I really don't want to be read into the books. I guess there is the factor of fear or risk invovled in these adventures.

I think I am not very keen in entering the world of fiction, although I enjoy them very much. I don't know the reasons why.

    Something to explore~

Maybe it sounds interesting to read people out of the story. But I think it would be troublesome and horrid. Sometimes, when I read a book, I would read out my favorite sentences subconsciously. If I have the gift to read people out, my room would be crowded with a variety of characters out of the book. What a nightmare! I would rather enjoy the freedom reading words out than watch silently without a sound.

    (2)
Probably I would read out. Using imagination to portrait a character in the story is thrilling, I still want to see the leading characters in the book if I have the ability. For instance, the Phoenix in Harry Potter is a strong appeal to me. I wonder how can a Phoenix repair people’s wounds by his tear. Another reason for me to read out characters is to see the differences between surreal world and reality. Howl is an ideal choice for me to read out. He is handsome, fearless and versatile. I believe he can bring me a fantastic life with the assistance of his powerful magic and consistent love for a girl.
    (3)
From my standpoint, I think the message of the book is being discreet in saying anything. Out of the mouth comes evil. But if I have the capability of silver tongue, I would make good use of this supernatural power in a good way.

  4. (1) No, I don't think I would not enjoy reading the characters in books out. The world will be a mess if I read the lines uncarefully and then all the people in books come out, no matter good or bad. I can't imagine the scene!
    (2) If I had the gift of reading people out, I would like to read out "Doraemon". I want to have his properties, then I can do many things with them.
    (3) I think the silver tongue means that one's words are important, so one should think twice before saying out what in your mind. The words can be candy or sword, depending on what one says.

  5. (1) Some characters are evil disguised in good. Following the plot, those characters initially appearing to be good turn out to be bad eventually. What if the characters are merely evils in disguise? I’d better not to read characters out from books. Maybe there is a simple solution: reading the whole story with my mouth shut closed. Afterwards, it is up to me whether I would let the known characters come out!

    (2) Farid. He acts weird all the time but he is clever and quick, which makes me wonder if he pretends to be odd in order to hide something. Farid casts mysterious and seductive charms on me. Not only is he quick in movement but he is also quick in learning new stuff. He learns to start fire quickly from Dustfinger. I would like more detailed stories about him!

    (3) The special talent of silver tongue is passed down in a family. The family members are kindhearted and good people. There happen to be many books in the family. I think the person who has a silver tongue need to think outside-of-box about literacy so that he or she can make the characters come alive!

  6. 1. Of course, I would enjoy the ability to "read people out" from the books. I think it marvelous and cool to read my favorite characters in the novels or comic books out.

    2. If I commanded this gift, I would like to read out NANA who is a character in the Japanese comic book. NANA is a rock singer who is cool in appearance but enthusiastic in heart. She has a unique attraction to a person no matter who is male or female. Therefore, I , a girl, couldn't help but keep my eyes on her and want to be a friend of her.

    3. Although the character in the novel can read the plot out and even can change the ending of the story, the message with the special talent of "silver tongue in this novel" conveys that everyone's life is special, nobody can change others' lives.

  7. (1) Would you enjoy the ability to "read people out" from the books?
Although I want to read the people out, I am afraid of that my friends or family will go into the book so I won't read them out. Besides, reading them out will cause many problems such as that they can't adapt to our world and that people will catch tham for exhibition. The best way is not to read them out, and let them exist in the books.

    (2) If you did command this gift, which character(s) from the book would you like to "read out"? Why?
If I have this gift, I think that I will call Doraemon out because he has hundred of thousands props that are useful. Whenever I meet problems, those props can help me solve my trouble. Besides, I can use the props to help the world with Doraemon. We can produce rain in Africa, make food there or punish bad guys. He has been my idol since I was a little girl. If I had the ability, I want to make friends with him. He is so cute and smart. Ha!

    (3) What is the message conveyed in this novel, especially with the special talent of "silver tongue?"
I think the author wants to tell people not to misuse or waste their talent. Using it on the right way can help people but if using it on the wrong way will cause problems. Moreover, the author maybe want to warn people to be careful when they talk. Watching this movie make me think of the importance of family. Leaving family is a painful thing. They love their family very much and they are willing to sacrifice themselves. I really like this movie.
Besides, the actor is handsome and the actress is cute.

I want to read people out. I think it is very exciting to read people out. I can meet the characters whom I love face to face. It will be very funny.

    (2) If you did command this gift, which character(s) from the book would you like to "read out"? Why?
I would like to read the Doraemon out actually. He has a lot of useful things. If I ask him out, he can help me a lot. He may even save a lot of people. Besides, he is very cute.

    (2) What is the message conveyed in this novel, especially with the special talent of "silver tongue?"
In my opinion, "silver tongue" may tell us to help people in a right way. Silver tongue is very useful. However, it may cause a lot of troubles in other way. Thus, silver tongue conveys us that we should make good use of our ability.

Yes, I think so magical that makes the imaginations come up to be realized. It's satisfied my curiosity and imagination to the books.

    (2) If you did command this gift, which character(s) from the book would you like to "read out"? Why?

I want to read out "Albert Einstein" from the book "a biography of Albert Einstein". Because Albert Einstein is the greatist scientist in human history. If he can coming back to this world. Our technologies would be more advanced. And maybe we could find the solutions between anthropogenic climate impacts and pollutions.

    (3) What is the message conveyed in this novel, especially with the special talent of "silver tongue?"

I think the message conveyed in this novel is being careful in any words that we spaek it out. because anything you speak out that might to occur. And any imaginations also maybe come up to realized.

  10. (1) I don’t enjoy the ability to “read people out” from the books because, then, I cannot enjoy reading the book anymore. I have to worry about what kind of person will get out of the book. In addition, a story is a story. The attractive point that we love to read the story is because we can imagine what characters are like. We don’t have to know exactly what characters are like. Characters that are fabricated exist better in our imagination than in the reality. Besides, when you read someone out, there must have a person be read in the book. I don’t want that happen.
    (2) I would like t read out Doraemon. Because he has many interesting and incredible gadgets. I want to try many things. For example, I want to go back to the time when I was a child and I want to have a door which can take me anywhere. In addition, when I am in trouble, he can give me a hand.
    (3) When someone has the talent of the silver tongue, he needs to be careful about what he tells others. For example, he cannot promise others that he can read them back to the story. He doesn’t know what will happen for the next minute so he has to be careful about his words. Also, the movie conveys that everything has its position. If someone is out of order, it will affect one another.

  11. (1) yes, I would enjoy the ability to read people out from the books. I think it is amazing and interesting to see if the character’s figure is the same as I imagine. And I would be so excited about talking to my favorite character.

    (2) Mo is the first character I want to read it out, because he is a handsome and attractive guy with the same gift as mine. I want to chat with him and hope he will share the fun, interesting experience of this terrific gift.

    (3) Even though the character, Dustfinger, is read out from the story, he thinks that selfishness is his natural personality which is set by the author. It is kind of pathetic that he is trapped by the frame set by himself. On the contrary, I’m so glad that I am not a character written by others. I can be better and better if I pluck up the courage to do it! And it makes fatalism so ridiculous.

  12. (1) Well, it depends on the situation. If people around me will get into the book when I read somebody out and under that situation I won’t enjoy the ability. But it won’t have any side-effect; I would like to read out some of my favorite characters from comic books because they can accompany me when I am alone.

    (2) I would like to read out a comic character named Yunoki Azuma who can play the flute better than any other people in the world. I like not only his music but also his personality although he sometimes is as evil as a devil because he likes to play tricks on others. Music is a special thing which I am addicted to and when listening to the music, I think that I am in the paradise. In addition to Azuma, I would like to read out all characters that are in La corda d'oro if it is allowed.

    (3) It teaches us that we should take the responsibility for our own words. Each word which we have said is very important because it will harm a person or praise a person; therefore, we had better think twice before saying anything lest it lead to an unbelievable mistake.

  13. For question one, would I enjoy the ability to read people out from the books? I think I would because it is impossible ability to read people out. If I possessed the ability I would really enjoy to read all the good people out of the books and have them accompany me all the time. For the second question, there are too many characters I want to read out from books... ...well, maybe a prince charming! The last one, I think there's reason for someone to possess a special talent, and that is to help people! So with silver tongue, eventually, he does help change one person's death destiny.

    ReplyDelete
  14. (1)If there is not the constraint (if you read out one person, there will be another read into the book), I would enjoy the ability to read people out from the books. It is really convenient. For example, if I encountered difficulties in my study, I would like to read out famous scientists to help me with my learning. If I was lonely, I would like to read out cartoon characters to play with me. If I was hungry, I would like to read out talented cook to serve me.

(2)After reading the Little Prince, I pretty want to read out the Little Prince and let him share his story with me. Maybe I will learn something from him and I could help the narrator fulfill his dream which is to make them meet each other again.

(3)If we have this talent of silver tongue and we abuse it, then there would be a chaos in the world. Maybe this movie wants to convey that people should be careful of every word they speak to its viewers. Sometimes, we might say words that hurt people around you carelessly; we should keep an eye on every word and every sentence we speak out so that we will get along with others well.

  15. (1)Haha, no way!! When I reade the novel ,if it's so excited, sometimes I would read with sound. If I have this ability, maybe dragon, alien, vampire,etc... will come out of the book. But sometime I will want the ability, When I want the machine cat "Do La A Mon."

(2)"Do La A Mon" is the first character I want to "read out"! Because he can help me lots of thing and I can borrow some tools to come true the dream!

(3)I think the story tell us, no matter what skill can be good or be bad all of how you use it. In the general life, we always have special telents different with the other, if we use it in good or right place, we can have good reflection, but if not maybe it will hurt other people. No matter what we decide to do, there are something change in our life.

  16. (1)I think that it depends. Becuase sometimes we will read some books that includes ghosts, lions, monstersk, it's not fun to let them exist in the really world. But, in the other hand, sometimes we will read some fairy tale that includes handsome guys, beautiful princess and little angels. That may be fun!!

    (2) I want to read "Genie" in Aladdin out! Because I can have many wishes!! Although Genie only give me three wishes, the first one and the second one I can have what i want. When the third one comes, i will wish that i want more one!!

    (3) I think that the movie wants to tell us that we should be responsible for what we have said. Seriously, if i have the silver tongue, i will carefully read the boods. I would only read the story that can make our world or life better.

  18. (1)As far as I am concerned, I wouldn’t enjoy the ability to “read people out”, because I am afraid that my families of my lover will be taken away. That not what I want. And what if a very scary monster appears in front of my eyes? All I want is just immerse in the plots of the book and enjoy it.
(2)If I have the ability to read people out from books, I will choose”Doraemon”. Doraemon is so cute that I have a desire to possess him. Besides, he has so many practical tools that they will help me solve every problem. I can do everything more easily.
(3)I think the novel wants to convey the message is that people should make use of their ability they have. If you make good use of it, it leads to a good result. On the other hand, if you didn’t use it properly, then bad ending comes out. The special talent of “silver tongue” means that we should be careful whenever we talk. We have to think twice before we say something, or we may hurt others’ feelings or cause disasters.

  19. (1)No, I would probably not enjoy it if I accidently speak out something horrible such as ghost. I prefer living a normal life to having such magical but sometimes dangerous ability. I enjoy being a normal and I am thankful for it.

(2)If I did command this gift, I want to read out “Wily Wonka”. The reason why I choose him is because I love to eat chocolate. If he did come out, I would ask him to make chocolate for me. Most importantly, I want him to invent tasty chocolate that contains no calories so that I would not become fat.

(3)It implies that we should all be careful when talking to others. Most people talk without contemplating, which causes people easily make tactless remarks or judgments on others. Talking is sort of knowledge. We should learn to think before talking.

  20. After watching this movie, I certainly not want to have the ability to read people out in this kind of situation. I mean, it might be good for people who wants money or a puppy, but when you accidently read out some kind of monster or disease. That is a whole different thing! But if I do have the ability to read out people, I think I would call out Toto, the cute dog in the movie. Because I’ve always liked dogs, and if I could read out a puppy that I’ve been dreamed of that would be great! Because we sometimes dream about things that we have heard or seen in the book or movie, if any has the chance to own one it would great. And for the ability like” silver tongue”, I think that the movie was trying to convey the idea of having a great power to do powerful things is not really a gift. Because the power is too powerful than what you can bear and take to fully control. And you might make a mess or destroy what you love.

  21. (1) Well, actually i don't think i would like to have such ability to read people out of the story for i don't think it is good to read people out. if we read the people out of the story, we do not know what are they thinking about and how they feel. Therefore, i just simply think that it is better that we stay in the world where we used to belong.

    (2) Just like what i have mentioned that i do not like to have the ability to read people out, and maybe i would just read out a bird or a frog. Because animals do not have much feelings and they just need to get used to the environment with less effort.

    (3) Ithink it implies that we should keep our tongue and take care about what i say or talk about because sometimes bad things happen. What's more, it also conveys that we should treasure what we have, make good use of it and not to use it in bad ways.

  22. I do not think I would enjoy that, because in my opinion, the encounters between people can not be planed to meet somebody or something. That's why life is always filled with wonders.

I think if I would like to read Doraemon out from the book, for that I will not worry about anything. Furthermore, I can go anywhere I want to travel or go back home to accompany my beloved family whenever I want.

I think the silver tongue represents--promise. People should take care of what they say and be responsible to the words which come out from your own mouth.

  23. 1. No!! Definitely not!! What if I went in to a book and there are monsters in the book and wants to kill me!! And I would have to be careful whenever I want to read a book. I can never read scary book out loud. My words would make big disasters, that wouldn’t be good. I like to read out loud when ever I want.
    2. I would like to read out cartoon characters like the talking animals, because they are funny and can play games with me, it’s going to be fun and laughing all the time.
    3. I think it’s about, how important words can be and how strong it can be when you say it out from your mouth. Sometimes you say things that you don’t really mean but it hurts people’s feelings. So, I think it’s the impotents of words and things that you say.

This ability is really marvelous but dangerous. When we are reading the stories written on books, we imagine the scenes and events appeared and happened in the book. Some like silent reading; by contrast, some enjoy reading them out. The movie manifested that if people magically read the books out, the characters or things in the books would appear. It was really remarkable and I like that.
    (2)
I think I prevent to own this ability. First, I seldom read books. Though I won’t cause any trouble if I make something happen, yet I cannot enjoy the happenings of the books when I read them out and bring characters out from the books.

Making unreal things come to life is really dramatic. However, if this ability exists, we could invent creations from books rather than technology.

(2)If I did command this gift, I would like to read Doraemon out from the book since he has a bag which is filled with magic devices. These magic devices can achieve a great number of impossible things in reality such as time being invisible, traveling and telepathy. I want Doraemon to help me resolve problems which I don’t have the ability to deal with.

No, I wouldn't. It is sort of weird, isn't it? In the story, we often see the monster or ugly people. why they only appear in the book? Because they are creepy. We see the words instead of the appearances. Besides, it is very selfish to read them out because we never care whether they really want to come to our world or not.

  31. (1.) Would you enjoy the ability to "read people out" from the books?
Actually, I do not think I will enjoy the ability to read people out from the books. Although it sounds very interesting to read characters out; however, I do not want any of my family members or friends to get into the books for exchange. And if those scary monsters really come out to our world, I think it will be a big disaster. The other reason for I do not want to have this ability is that while I am reading books, I like to read them out loud, but if I have this special ability, I will lose one of the major pleasure of reading books.
(2.) If you did command this gift, which character(s) from the book would you like to "read out"? Why?
If I really command the ability of reading characters out from books, I would like to read "Chopper" out from the comic called ONE PIECE. Chopper is a very adorable reindeer with a blue nose and he is also a kind-hearted doctor with superb medical skills. He is always willing to help people who get hurt and does his best to cure them, so I think read him out will be greatly helpful to patients in our world. In addition, Chopper is able to communicate with human, so if I read him out, I will not be boring anymore because he can chat with me.
(3.) What is the message conveyed in this novel, especially with the special talent of "silver tongue?"
I think the message that this novel wants to convey is that everyone should be careful and responsible for what they said. The special talent of "silver tongue" tells us to think twice before saying anything out of our mouth. Furthermore, the author wants to tell readers that using our abilities in good way instead of doing evil things is extremely important. If we use the ability in right way, it will bring us many benefits; however, if we do not use it properly, many negative effects or even disasters may happen.

(2)If you ask me, I would say Superman. I think a lot of things that people can not do.It must have some people to defend the Earth. So Earth will not war. It's different from peace nations that just said by mouth. It's really to defend the planet.
(3)In my opinion. Everyone can speak, but it's often inappropriate. How to say in appropriative? We must be thought about. It can let our truly publish. This novel is trying to convey us that think when you want to say something.

  35. (1) Would you enjoy the ability to "read people out" from the books?
Absolutely, I would enjoy and desire to acquire the ability to read people out from the book. I want to see those amazing characters in Bible.
    (2) If you did command this gift, which character(s) from the book would you like to "read out"? Why?
If I did command this gift, I would like to read Jesus Christ out from the New Testament because today’s society is very chaos and people need the truth. And I also want to see him and ask Jesus Christ some questions about his father, heavenly father. When I am still alive, I want to see his Second Coming after his first resurrection.
    (3) What is the message conveyed in this novel, especially with the special talent of "silver tongue?"
I think the message conveyed in this novel is that we should distinguish fantasy from the reality. Those happened in the past or in the novel won’t reverse back. If we try to do that, it would be a disaster to us. People with silver tongue shouldn’t read out books because their silver tongue will make their loved one disappear. They can study books silently, but they should never read out loudly. Once they read out, they will bring us unexpected consequences.
