  1. (1) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
Well, I pretty like my presentation of the story on the stage. Our group members tried hard to act it out perfectly without the narrator. And thanks for our effort we did a great job though there still left something to be desired.

    (2) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
We adapted some parts of the original story; for example, we eliminated a lot of description of the things because we thought that everyone would understand through our acting; therefore, we had very few conversations.

    a. Were you trying to be 100% "faithful" to the original story?
    b. Did you do some changes to the original story? Why did you make the changes?
No, we were not that 100% faithful to the original story although what we did was reduced most of narrations. And the reason why we did so was that we could fully express the story by our movements.

(3)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
Well, I think that I should be much more confident in myself that I should care about nothing but concentrating on the presentation. Besides, I will discuss the story with my members earlier than this time in order to have more time making refined props.

  2. (1)Yes, I like my presentation this time. At least, I am not shy like before. We rehearsed for several times and our group members were in perfect coordination.

(2)We did not follow the original entirely. And we acted out in a different way from other groups. That is, we told the story mainly through conversations and we did not have a narrator because we thought that would be more precise and clear so that the audience could understand our tale easily.

(3)If I have the chance to perform again, I have to speak more loudly because from the video my volume was really weak. And another important thing is that I need to be more outgoing and act “out.” Besides, I also need to pay attention to my intonation. It plays an important role when it comes to conveying a character’s emotion.

  3. (1) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
Yes, I like my performance because we came up with the conversation by ourselves. We did our best to do the presentation and we did it. Our presentation was different from other groups because we didn’t have narrator. We had perfect teamwork, which made our performance succeeded.

    (2) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
We adopted most story but we also adapt some parts of the story. The characters were as same as those in story but their conversation were a little different because we adapted conversation by ourselves to make the characters vivid. We even made some cute props, such as the rabbit’s ears and radishes. We used our own style to do this performance.

(3)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
I want to be more confidence in my presentation and overcome my stage fright. I also want to make more cute props. Besides, I want to add some funny scenes or conversations into our performance to make it more interesting.

  4. (1)Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
Yes!! Our members acted the best show to everyone and we used a way that we didn't have any narrator.
We tried to use our body and face language to express what the story is.
    (2) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
We changed some part of the story to make the story more attractive and easy to present, and we gave up
some details, such as some descriptions of the characters because we didn't have narrator to help us
to describe. However, we used our way to make audiences understand the story.
(3)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
I will practice more to make the play more fluently, and add some different elements in the play, such
as singing or dancing to make the show more interesting.
