  1. (1) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
Actually, I don’t like my presentation of the story on the stage this time because I think, we didn’t prepare very well, and sometimes we even did not know where the story went. There was a little chaos in our presentation. In addition, our asides spoke a little too fast and the sound was little small. These made some people do not know what the story was. However, I think if we can prepare well, we can have a better performance on the stage.
    (2) Did you “adopt” or “adapt” the original story?
We tried to be 100% faithful to the original story. After the performance, I think we can cut some trivial plots. Because of the long story, the performers on the stage didn’t know what to do. Therefore, it would cause some boring feeling to the audience.
    (3) What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
I will cut some trivial plots, change some ways in our presentation, making it more fluently, and try to be more active. Besides, I will prepare the presentation earlier to make the performance better.

  2. 1. I do not like our presentation of the story on the stage very much. Since we didn’t prepare thoroughly and rehearse well, our performance did not go smoothly and fluently. As being a storyteller, I think there was still room for me to improve my intonation and learn how to control the whole processes of the performance well. However, I think every member of our group had done his or her best; we will become better and better if we practice a lot.

    2. We adopted the original story to do our performance. Because the original story is amusing, we tried to be completely faithful to it. However, I think adapting the original story is a good way of performing as well. By doing so, audiences would like to expect something different or surprising during the performance, which is a good way to catch their eye.

    3. I will try to look at the TV screen first to check where I should stand properly. I was so nervous that I acted right away as stepping onto the stage. Besides this, I should improve my pronunciation and movements, trying to act out as possible as I can and being well-prepared before the performance.

  3. 1. I don’t like my presentation of the story on the stage. The reason is that I think I didn’t have enough confidence to face with my classmates, and didn’t express the best to them. I should practice much more times and take out my courage to present a better one.

    2. I think we adopted the original story. We tried to mimic the characters in the story and find the suitable doll together with group members to present it to the audience. Because we couldn’t find some right kinds of characters, we found another one(bear and rabbit dolls) to replace them.

    3. I think I should understand the character I mimic much more and make practice for many times until I feel that it’s the time I can present it out to audience. But before this, I should establish much more confidence and get rid of nervousness.

  4. 1.I do not like my presentation of the story on the stage, since I fluffed my lines and improvised my words, leading to the misunderstaing of my gorup members. Therefore, they couldn't understand clearly where the story went on. In addition, we didn't prepared well before the preformance.

2.We adopted the original and tried to be 100% faithful to the original story but I think doing some change is much more interesting since they wouldn’t know what was going to happen; therefore, they would pay attention to our performance.

    3. I will learn my lines thoroughly and take notice of location where I have to stand to let audience can see my facial expression clearly. Moreover, I will assure of myself that I get the whole idea of the plot and lines. Before going on the stage , I will practice with my group members as many as times as possible to make sure we can bring the best performance for audience.
