  1. 1.Yes, I like our presentation of the story on the stage. We had several rehearsals before the performance and also made some stage tools for help. We were so nervous that we forgot some lines, but in the end we still made the presentation of the story successfully.

2.(a)Yes. We arranged every part of our performance and roles according to the original story. We hoped that we could make the show present in shape; it would let the audience know what we are trying to act out much more easily. (b)Yes. Because we didn’t have enough people to share the roles, we must have to simplify some part of the original story. The simplified parts of the original story could also make our performance more attractive instead of being long-winded.

3.First, we may add more lines to our presentation. It will make the presentation more complete. Second, we will improve the stage tools. In others’ performance, they made very good stage tools. I think that we may put some creativity in making the stage tools, and then our performance would become more colorful and appealing to the audience.

  2. (1.) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
Yes, I like our group's presentation of "Benjamin Bunny" very much. Actually, acting out a story is far more difficult than I think before. However, through teamwork, I think our performance is pretty successful! Before went on to the stage, our group members got together to practice our lines and rehearse for many times. We also made rabbit ears, onions, and all kinds of vegetable as the stage props by ourselves to draw everyone's attention. I think it is a very special experience that help me to learn how to really act a story out.

    b. Did you do some changes to the original story? Why did you make the changes?
Basically, we perform the story according to the original story, but we did make some changes in our group presentation. For instance, some of our members play more than one characters because we do not have enough people. And actually Benjamin Bunny is quite a long story, so we decided to make some deletions. We also think that if we play the whole story, the audience--children may feel tedious. Overall, we present our performance in a simplier way, and it also make audience easy to understand the story line when we are playing on the stage.

(3.)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
Because I am really nervous when I was playing on the stage, if I have a chance to do it again I will try my best to stop feeling tense and stay calm, also say me lines slower, louder, and more clear. Futhermore, if we can rehearse more before go on to the stage, I believe that our presentaion will be better--" Practice makes perfect. " Though palying the Benjamin Bunny story, I learn a lot of tips about how to present a story before so many people and know how to improve my performance in the future. I think it is a very precious experience.

  3. (1.) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
Yes, I like our presentation of the story on the stage. We all tried our best to present the play. And we also did some decorations to make our show vividly.
And I was kind of lucky in our group because as the narrator I don’t have the trouble that other group members met, that’s remembering the scripts. But, the difficult part of the narrator is you have to put your emotion in your voice and enjoy in it ,then the audience will be in the play, too.
(2.) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
    a. Were you trying to be 100% "faithful" to the original story?
    b. Did you do some changes to the original story? Why did you make the changes?
Honestly, we didn’t make the big change of our story. We adopted some parts from the original story. But, we all tried our best o present the show. We tried our best to make the story lines go fluently. Pretend that if there is someone who didn’t read the Benjamin Bunny before, will he or she understand the story through our play? This is the most important goal that we want to meet.

(3.) What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
Just like Kim says ”Practice makes perfect.” I think that we need more rehearsal before we go on the stage. And if we have enough time , we want to make more decorations on our stage.
