(1) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
ReplyDeleteYes, i do like our presentation of the story on the stage because it is fun and I enjoyed the teamwork with my classmates. what's more, this time, i think we got prepared even though there might be some problems or trouble during the performance, i enjoyed a lot.
(2) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
In some way, we did the same to the original story in order to make people get involved and we did not think too much about adapting the story, we want to show the original story to audience. If i knew that most people have read the story, i think we would choose another way to present it.
(3)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
I think I will want to perform it directly instead of that there is a narrator and he/she keeps telling the story, while other characters are staying there and doing nothing. If we mix the narrator and the characters of the play, i think it would add fun and there will be more feedback from the audience.

ReplyDeleteYes, I do love our presentation of the story on the stage. I enjoy the team work and we even prepare the stage properties well this time.
(2) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
a. Were you trying to be 100% "faithful" to the original story?
b. Did you do some changes to the original story? Why did you make the changes?
We actually perform the story in the original version. However, I think we tried our best to present it as original as possible, and that’s also great for audience to read the story again.
(3)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
I’ll try to use my voice in a different way next time because it actually influence audience’ emotions.
(1) Do you like your presentation of the story on the stage?
ReplyDeleteIn fact, we had discussed about it and tried to make fun. However, it turned out that I cannot present it vividly and properly. As a result, people would feel bored. The performance could be more interesting and the story could be more impressive.
(2) Did you "adopt" or "adapt" the original story?
We all based on the whole story. We would emphasize some important or excited parts to make audience know more about it.
a. Were you trying to be 100% "faithful" to the original story?
I think the story was made up, so it was just trying to tell the story to innocent kids how the caterpillar’s biological transform. People and kids would enjoy it because it is colorful and imaginary.
b. Did you do some changes to the original story? Why did you make the changes?
We presented this story by casting a person who pretends to be caterpillar. And it should mimic the mentioned parts of the story.
(3)What improvement will you make if you are going to present the play again on the stage? Why?
I think if we could discuss about it more carefully and sincerely, we could perform it more successfully.
